Does Anyone Know If Hairloss Is Related To Hypothyroidism?
And I’ve heard that taking medication, though beginning with weightloss at first, ends with much weight gain? Does any one know if this is true from experience?

definetly if ur thyroid is playing up a lot of things can happen . it happened to me after i had my son and i had to cut my hair . i lost 1 stone and later put back 3 stone so be careful and make sure u get the right information from the doctor .
Yes, hairloss is a symptom of hypothyroidism. Some even experience more hairloss with Synthroid, then others have the hairloss stop with Synthroid. If the hairloss continues once on thyroid meds, it can indicate the need for T3. Getting free t3 tested can tell. Basically you want free t3 level above midrange.
I had thinning hair at the temples and even lost the outer portion of my eyebrows. Since switching to Amour, the thining hair has stopped and most of what I had lost has grown back, My eyebrows are full again also.
