How Can I Stop Hairloss And Dandruff Due To Bad Bathing Water?

I’m studying in Toronto and I have noticed that whenever I’m in Toronto, I start shedding an awful lot of hair, especially after a shower. My bathtub is literally covered with fallen hair. This does not happen when I’m anywhere else, in India for example. I’m pretty sure its due to the extremely chlorinated water. How do I stop this? It’s pretty embarrassing!

  1. evenings says:

Fit a filter on the faucet, that’ll fix it

  2. Anirudh says:

try a filter head for your shower it may be a help

  3. Felix says:

don’t wash your hair as often (use a shower cap) and use very gentle shampoo

  4. narcissa says:

Wow, never heard of water causing hair loss before. Maybe it is the extreme temperature in Toronto causing dry skin. The water here is so highly chlorinated you can’t stay in the shower very long at times. By the way, congrats on the spelling in your question.

  5. skipped8 says:

Shower, then wash your hair in the sink with distilled water. It’s like 79 cents for a whole gallon.
